Recruitment at The Great Hall - 2010 - Events Manager's Position

We are looking to recruit an experienced Events and Bars Manager to run all aspects of the business, but with particular skills in bar /staff management and wedding/banqueting organisation. You will also need to be highly proficient in administration, have good financial acumen and excellent computer knowledge as you will be responsible for the upkeep of client records etc.

We are looking for a strong leader who has all the necessary experience required to co-ordinate and manage a team of staff who are committed to providing the very best in weddings and events.

We also have an opening for a trainee Event Manager.

This positon will be part time and would ideally suit an undergraduate who is currently studying Event Management, Hospitailty or Tourism.

We are also on the look out for dedicated bar staff who are flexible and hard working. We are, particularly, looking for a Bar Supervisor. Previous experience is essential, although training will also be given.

Excellent rates of pay.

We may be a small family run unit - but we do have big ideas for our business!

The Great Hall at Mains is a self-contained venue, where events can be tailor made to accommodate any of your conferencing or event requirements.

With its spacious open plan facilities, The Great Hall lends itself well to business presentations, team building, product launches or work seminars. Not only is the hall flexible in its ability to be sectioned off into smaller areas – you also have ‘Exclusively Yours’ usage.

Set in a semi – rural location within easy access from the main M55 motorway, the venue is situated within magnificent gardens. Here you can experience the hub of the boardroom, within the quiet of the countryside.

We can accommodate for numbers from 40 up to 200 and there is ample free car parking, disabled access, high-speed internet wireless connection and your own personal ‘assistant’ who will be on hand for any secretarial or administrative back up.
